Hello Everyone!
I've decided it is time to get back into the blogging world. Hopefully I can stick with it this time and really keep track of everything going on in our wonderfully crazy life! Instead of back tracking over the last year I'm just going to say it was wonderful and we are doing great!! I will however let you in on two major changes we have had in the last few months.
Matea was born Nov. 3 2010 and has grown like a very cute weed ever since. We love the addition to our family!! She is so sweet and giggles all the time. She has been sick the last week and is still happy. What a trooper! Here are a few pictures of her the last few months...Needless to say she is ADORABLE and we LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!!
Also, on Feb. 28 we closed on our new home! We now live in a beautiful home nestled between the Great Salt Lake and the Wasatch Mountain Range. It is beautiful out here and we couldn't be happier with the neighborhood. We new this is where we wanted to be but every day I love it more and more!
Today we are getting ready for summer! We are getting our garden ready. The other day I bought the bags of soil-ish stuff to mix that will make our plants so happy! Turkey Mulch, Vermiculite, Garden Amender, and Compost. Woo!
Maile is loving the swing set and sand box that the previous owners so kindly left and asks to play outside everyday rain, sun or snow! We love taking walks around the neighborhood and taking the little path to the playground. There are walking trails, bike trails, wetlands and farms.
Maile is turning 3 in less than 2 months!!! We can't believe it! She is becoming such a little lady. She loves dress up, dolls, fairies, tea parties, baby dolls, baths, singing, story telling, dancing, marshmallows, making Matea giggle, jumping on her bed, playing hide and seek, Jake and the Neverland Pirates (disney junior), pink cupcakes, Cinderella, princesses, helping in the kitchen, puppy cereal (know to the rest of us as Corn Flakes), puppies, playing with friends, flowers (real and fake), monsters, racing, swinging, sliding, finding treasure in her sandbox, going for walks, talking on the phone to whoever I am talking to at the moment, and so many other things I couldn't begin to name them all. We love her so much and though at times she makes me grind my teeth and wring my hands in frustration the times she makes me laugh so hard I cry far outweigh the crazy times. We love her as a daughter and we love her as the beautiful young lady she is becoming. Thank you Maile for making us so happy!
This is a photo from tonight's bath. They are too cute.
Well, there it is. The first post, however rough, of our renewed family blog! I hope you'll come back to keep up on us!!
Love!!
